Arthur J. Fitzsimmons was an American artist active in the late 19th and early
20th centuries. He is known for his paintings of landscapes, seascapes, and
harbor scenes, often depicting the New England coast and harbor towns. He
was associated with the Boston School of painters, a group of artists who were
influenced by French Impressionism and focused on capturing the light and
color of the natural world
